I think that you must really miss her...
But I know Cern is shut down for optimization at this moment for 4 years .For the large Hadron Collider (LHC) to get High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) which increases the number of particle collisions tenfold (!)

I lived in the UK during this, so it wasn't too bad.
Yeah, right now her thesis is focused on the hypothetical axion particle. It’s a theoretical particle that could potentially be related to dark matter and help explain some of the unanswered questions in quantum physics.
(she's a theoretical physicist)
