I doubt that's the case, it's still the case Mercedes has the best work environment:
1) see it say it fix it philosophy
2) no blame philosophy: toto still affirmed no one is to blame for the w13's lack of performance
3) $10k bonus for winning
This is still the best working environment in F1 - Nico Rosberg commented on how impressive Mercedes was at treating employees well. This is shown by the retention of F1 employees for so long. Sure some have left but that's bound to happen when you have other teams expanding and aggressively poaching employees via higher pay.
Overall F1 in general is high pressure high pace and it is the same for all teams. So that's not something new.
