Hi,
After some ideas here on a really bumpy ride i'm currently experiencing at motorway speeds..
few weeks back hit a pothole which needed two new offside tyres due to bulges.. got that sorted out ASAP and the at motorway speeds the ride felt very 'lumpy and bumpy' strange i thought, so took it in for a KDS, all the boxes came back green following adjustment... still feeling lumpy and bumpy though!
two nearside tyres have ~13k on them, could this account for the change in ride versus the brand new ones? all are Bridgestone s001 runflats..
The car has been looked at by BMW, and i'm sure they would have told me if any suspension was damaged... but i'm struggling to think what to check with costing me mega bucks..
could it be a bad batch of tyres?
could the pressures be wrong (will check tomorrow) or nuts are not as tight as they could be...
i am leaning towards the new tyres just not really being 'bedded in' yet... they've only done a few hundred miles so far, but it's driving me round the bed as the drive was so nice and smooth before and now it's just shit and really pissing me off
claim has gone in to the council for new tyres... won't hold my breath but it might cheer me up... ty!!
