You have to remember that BMW in the US and BMW in Europe are pretty different, the US gets a limited range of high priced models where in Europe the range is significantly larger with cheapo models all the way up to the 760iL. The main marklet for this car is Europe, is it even going to come to the US, but I don't believe Europeans will give a monkeys about this being a FWD BMW, I also bet the 3 series will end up FWD in a generatio of so with the performance models being AWD.
