LEMON Interior for U.S. E90?????

Member E90 Toad has a Monaco Blu 335 with a Lemon Interior and got it in Colorado................HOW CAN THIS BE POSSIBLE????

Is Lemon now a Priority One option for the E90 or part of the "secret" options listfor U.S. models?????

Please inform.......................

not secret... i saw a car at my dealer... crimson/lemon. its a new priority one option this year.

From what I understand in Canada, only the sedan's can be ordered with lemon interior as an option. If you want it in the 335i coupe you have "special" order it. I was seriously, considering ordering as my interior but I couldn't justify to paying the extra money. I'm happy with the cream interior.

Priority One means that it's a customer-ordered car, as opposed to a "generic" order going by dealer specifications. So that means you won't see a car with Priority One options just sitting on the showroom floor and available for sale, unless a customer ordered it, backed out and lost the down payment.

I also saw a Black 328xi sitting in the showroom floor today(2 17/07). Cant for the life of me understand why they call it Lemon. It looks white or vanilla to me.

I wondered about that that too, another forumer once came up with the idea that if you peel open a lemon, it somewhat resembles the inside of it's skin

Couldn't agree more. A year ago when I ordered my car, lemon was even more of a rarity than it is today. If I hadn't seen the photo below in the official Interior Thread, I would have never dared order an interior called 'lemon' and would more than likely have ended up with 'boring beige' again. I will always be grateful to this board for that

Hmmm... this is a no cost option? I would have seriously considered lemon. Maybe I could still change it. Has anyone ever seen this with Alpine White? Would it be too bland?

Here ya go. It's not quite to my taste - a little too bland, as you say, especially with the aluminium trim. But then again, I'm not a fan of AW with any interior... Lemon looks better with wood + black or dark blue exterior, IMHO.
