Upcoming ships to set sail for the West Coast?
My car has been at the port since the 12th of Jan and the status hasn't changed since. It's driving me crazy! I just checked out the upcoming ships...Carmen is the first ship listed, but that's with WW...have any of you West Coasters got your car delivered via the WW before? From what I've read, they're East Coast only. I hope my car will make it on Carmen if she comes to the West Coast, but if not hopefully the Sirius Leader.
The pain of waiting is killing me:mad: |

BMW does use WW for west coast transport, but maybe just not as much as NYK. Mine's on the TRISTAN, which is a WW ship that left on the 12th headed for Port Hueneme. I don't know if there's any method to which cars get put where. Just keep checking the WW site and search for your VIN, especially after the 800# changes to "en route." In my case, the 800# didn't change until Tuesday the 16th and the WW site didn't show until the 15th even though the ship had already sailed. Maybe the MLK holiday weekend caused part of the delay in updating the info on the phone and website. Good Luck!

Carmen is delayed.
My dealer told me my E90 335i was on the Carmen last week with a departure date of 1/20/07. I found it on the WW site and the departure date changed to 1/26/07 shortly before it was supposed to leave. I'm guessing some of the bad weather in Europe is slowing it down.
Carmen's current schedule is: Depart Bremerhaven, German on 1/26/2007 Arrive Zeebrugge, Belgium on 1/28/2007 Arrive Southampton, UK on 1/29/2007 Arrive Manzanillo, Panama on 2/10/2007 Arrive Port Hueneme, CA on 2/18/2007 This info is on the http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/index.jsp site. Go to Customer Centre, then Schedules and fill in the requested info. |

Actually the 18th was the day I looked, it was saying the 20th for the Grande Sicilia to sail.... today my status changed to "in transit" so something sailed today, either that or the 800 number was behind... the WW vin number thing doesnt work, so I must be on one of the other lines boats...
