I have a 116i sport and want to know is it possible to upgrade the standard system to support a sat nav built in.

i'm not sure if its possible to swap all this stuff out and it will work- or if you'll need to get it recoded.

I want the same, and the price seems cheap- good luck!

I'm waiting for my 116i to arrive. It has the 6NH iDrive with the 7" screen (the basic one) without sat nav.

Is swapping the whole thing the only solution?!

Does anyone know if it is possible to just change the firmware or add the GPS chip to the iDrive?

Thanks

That's the one. But I don't want to change it and pay that cost if it doesn't work.

That also has the climate control (or whatever the upgraded air con is called)

Hmm would be interested to see if this is indeed compatible!
