I think you need BMW apps to get to play videos from your docked mobile device.
Not sure about the USB.

Noticed something strange the other day. My little boy was watching Fire Man Sam on my Iphone when the phone rang...I picked the call up through hands free and in addition to the callers speach comming through the speakers the sound track to the video also started to come through the speakers. Stu

How do you get the BMW apps, or even the internet screen up for that matter?
