Your car looks great, I have purchased a 116d Sport manual and would like to ask you about performance and fuel consumption. I test drove one and thought the performance was fine, but as the car was de-badged it could of been anything!

I have a F20 116d and find the performance ok, it needs to be worked a little harder than the more powerful variants but generally is quick enough to perform overtakes etc..

Fuel consumption is excellent i find, however most of my driving is motorway circa 65-70mph and i am comfortably averaging 63.5mpg!

Oyster interior

Hi Doubleyou...

I too have ordered the Dakota Oyster interior with sports seats on my SE to be delivered sometime in March...

I notice you have snow as we do here in the uk and just wonder how the interior is coping with it being so light in colour...? I notice you have the black mats fitted, I think they will be xtra here as the mats fitted will I think be the same colour as the carpet so will cost me appx 100 euros...

Could you possibly post some more pics of the interior? I'm finding it very difficult to find any pics on-line of oyster. The last time I saw it was at the dealer launch event and I fell for it straight away but am increasingly concerned regarding its practicality...

Many thanks
David

I do not know if floor mats do exist in Oyster. It will be nicer but so not practical. My car came with these black mats, probably ordered by the lease company.

I have the car since 2 weeks now so I can not judge yet how vulnerable an Oyster interior will be, and if it gets dirty easily. Dark jeans and Oyster do not combine very well . The dealer told me that the leather is easy to clean. They have a cleaning set which I will buy later on.

3 more pics:
