Available mods for 125i

So far I have only found exhausts from BMW M performance and superspirt. I also have found an air filter from K&N, but except that nth more.

What else am I missing?

Have any of you found some more goodies? I’m mostly interested in a chip tuning program. Please share what have you found, anything will be a great help.

Here is a pair of nice boobies to show my gratitude ( . )( . )

TY

Most upgrades are rather poor investments, but I think the Michelins are hard to beat when it comes to performance per dollar.

Not many mods available for the 125i as yet

I would like to see a better looking rear spoiler than the current BMW Performance one available. I dont like the ACS one.

M Performance is releasing a re-chip tune in mid 2013 for 125i

I am informed it will increase the KW from 160 to 210/(225 with M exhaust)

For the M Performance chip tune, I have been told to expect a price of around $2100.00for the M Chip here in Aus as it has to be fitted by BMW and $3500.00 if I want the M Exhaust as well.

There are a couple of brands of throttle chipsets out already through specialist BMW tuners/service agents that mod the OBC signal so that it enhances the thottle responce to achieve slightly better resonce times and can also help fuel consumption. Most AM products use this type of design and range from $500.00 to $750.00 here.

I am thinking I might trial one to see if it makes a difference.

It seems that BMW here makes an absolute bloody fortune on spares and upgrades.

Hey AusF20, thanks’ for your comments. I got to agree with you, spares and upgrades make some nice extra cash for BMW.

Although I noticed that your prices are way higher than the one I received:

For example the M performance exhausts: my price is around 2.800 PLN which is around 870 AUD - that’s a huge gap between this and yours 1400 $

Anyway – 225 KW sounds awesome!!!

I think ill just get that exhausts for now, and wait for that M chip – looks like it will be worth the wait.

Yes, you are correct, the M Exhaust can be got for around $900.00, unfortunately here you have to add import duties and the GST tax plus fitting costs by BMW. By itself I was quoted $1188.00 plus fitting of $595.00 from two different BMW dealers.

I just found out that Remus actually make the M Performance box for BMW
I got a quote from a specialist Exhaust shop in Brisbane for $1260.00 (fitted)
They would fit the REMUS 70mm SS twin system (Cat Back) complete with polished tips to suit a F20 125i.

I actually prefer the look of the stock exhaust on the 125i more than the m performance one. The tail pipes look a bit to aftermarket for my taste with the mp one. Just my opinion.

How are you finding the sound then above 4500 revs? I don't think the sound till bother me to much either.
