125i ordered - BMW 1-Series Forum (F20) 135i

Hi,

I have ordered a new F20 125i, mineralgrau color last week. The delivery will be by the end of april...at the BMW Welt in Münich. I am really excited to go there, to discover BMW world and to visit Münich manufacturing plant (dedicated to the F30 I believe). In addition, I have never been in Münich. My previous cars were japanese ones (Mazda and Toyota). With my new BMW order, I was really impressed by the length of the options list. 2 pages in my case. Disconecting the front passenger airbag is an option ! Well, on another side, I have obtained almost 12% reduction on the total amount.

Anyone knows if the 125i F20 is and will be produced in the Regensburg plant or in the Leipzig one ?

welcome to the forum. And congratulations with a good choice. Send pictures when you get the car and tell about performance etc..

All F20 are produced in the Regensburg plant.

It seems that F20 model is also produced in Leipzig since march 1st:

This date (march 1st) is the starting production date of the three new engines (125i, 125d and 116d ED) based cars. It corresponds also to the production of the M pack as far as I know.

Any information is welcome

My local BMW dealer has given me the VIN of my future 125i. I will get it directly from the BMW welt at Münich by the end of this month. Does it mean that the car has already been built ?
