My 116i arrives on the 20th of November! Woo! - BMW 1-Series Forum (F20) 135i

So keen! Built on the 29th of September, put on the boat on the 5th of October and it arrives on the 20th of November at Port Kembla and I take delivery of it on my actual birthday(30th of November)! best present ever!!

In the meantime, I bought some new wheels for it! 19" GT CSL ones, and I'm replacing the centre caps they came with because they look cheap, and I've also bought the MSport badges for the wheels as well. Both the caps and the MSport stickers are the original BMW Part, so they aren't some knock off or anything. The wheels look really nice, going to make the car look so hot! especially when I get the tints done as well. So now counting down the days! and its driving me nuts haha. This wait has been such a struggle! This is the first new car i have factory ordered so its an expierience, but worth it I think

Anyway, Heres a pic of the wheels (Those centre caps are the ones I'm replacing)

Hi Guys,

Thanks! I'm so excited it's not funny. Recently, my brother got his licence and he has been driving the Golf as it is technically his car, so i haven't had a car for nearly a month

it's been so bad haha, I can't handle it anymore!

The wheels are going to look mad!, i haven't seen an F20 with these wheels, and i love these because they are huge! so no need to lower it haha.

Amberzombie, I bought the car from my local dealer, Col Crawford. I'd shopped around, and in the end they gave me a deal I couldn't refuse! Nice E90 btw

do you have an E87 or F20 1Series?

AusF20, will do! cant wait to get it!

Did you order your centre caps from the dealer, or somewhere online? I was gonna head down to my dealer and get a set this weekend for my winter alloys as i dont trust the sellers on ebay that claim to be 'genuine'. How much did you pay each if you dont mind me asking?

No not at all!

I bought them off eBay. See I'm like you, I need the original parts and I was a bit dubious at first and i know the dealers sting you like no tomorrow. But I was really happy with the result, like they even came in the original BMW packaging and everything and you could tell they were the real thing, like they had the BMW Stamps on the back etc.... And the shipping was really fast, I ordered them on the Wednesday and I got them on Monday from Japan! So it was worth it I think. $60AU inc. shipping for the centre caps I think, and $30AU inc. shipping for the MSport Badges. I can send you the link if you'd like?

I remember being this excited for my E82 125i coupe a few years ago. I ran the CSL rims on that, and reckon they'll look fantastic on the F20. What size are you going with? Did you find a staggered set? I'll be putting a set on my M135i when it arrives.

We were given 6 weeks as an estimate. It took 16 weeks.

Just luck of the draw, if you are unlucky and order a model or option in short supply your car can be delayed.

I'm over the moon haha. The ones I'm putting on are 19" (goodbye reverse parking! :P ) and they can be staggered , but I found out that if I went 19X8.5 on the front and 9.5 on the back, the 8.5 would be flush with the guard and the rear ones sticking out at the back haha so I went 8.5 all round so they are flush with the wheel arches.

they said last week of december for the 114i model only ordered it in november, i guess as its not a big demanded model....? UK by the way

Got the Car!!! Picked it up at Midday today, and they gave me some nice goodies too! just so over the moon! it looks so hot! hahahaha gotta get used to the clutch though....stalled it already haha
