My F21 M135i arrived this morning! I went for Estoril Blue, sports auto, added the comfort pack, storage pack, and auto wipers and lights.
Haven't had the opportunity for a good drive, but from the time I have had in the car, I can say i'm loving it! Such a step up from my 2.0 TDi A3. I like the auto (my first auto) a lot - need to see what it's like in manual mode. Also, the noise the car makes is excellent. I have been grinning all day! Comfort setting is the default when turning the engine on, and will no doubt be the most used setting. Didn't leave town so haven't tried sport and sport + as yet. Need to find a good A road to give it some. Gave Eco pro a go around town, and it seems to make a noticeable difference, and the on board computer shows you how many miles you've managed to extend the range by. A neat feature, no idea how accurate it is. The ride quality is far superior to the s-line suspension on my A3. I know this is relative, and will totally depend on what car you move from, but for me the M135i is a very comfortable place to be. Enough of the this-is-what-I-think rambling, here are some pictures.

You guys are so lucky. Here in US it sucks not to be able to get it. This is a perfect weekend track and daily driver. Can even store golf bags in the boot!

Thanks for the comments! Loving the car so far. Still need an opportunity to get it out of the city and go for a proper run. Last day of work for the year today!

Have just had a run from Birmingham to Liverpool. Cruise control most of the way, 70mph or a little more, and have averaged 41.4mpg! This car continues to amaze me.

Awesome car mate.
I tried to start a new thread asking for M135i advice but these forums seem to have solid restrictions for new members! I've started negotiations with BMW and I'm looking to test drive the M135i as soon as they can get one in. I'm looking for exactly the same spec as you: Estoril Blue Auto Transmission Comfort Pack Storage Pack Is there anything else anyone can recommend. I'm not interested in Sat-Nav. I was hoping if someone could clarify whether the HK sound system is worth the upgrade? I'm quite into my dance music and with this in mind is the HK system aimed at sound accuracy (like a traditional Hi-Fi system) or is it fantastic for this sort of music? Would I be better off going with BMW's Pro system instead? Finally, I haven't test driven one yet but I'd like to know what the ride is actually like. Is it firmer than the reviews make out or is it perfectly comfortable for the majority of drivers in Eco mode? Many Thanks |
