AC vs Snowflake
My Feb-2012 build 1er has gone in for some minor work to be done and they have given me an Aug-2012 1er as a courtesy car.
I've noticed they now put "A/C" instead of a snowflake symbol for the air conditioning button (both mine and this are non-climate control models) Also, when I first open the door I get "BMW" and some red lines on the display near the speedo (its the basic small display, same as mine) Wonder what other small changes they make without most people noticing! So - who has a snowflake and who has A/C?! |

I noticed this when I had a Aug 12 car the other week.
The dash also shows a little "S/S" symbol on the dash with a line through it to tell you when the Start/Stop isn't going to work. Guess it's a software update? |

All July build date cars onwards have the A/C lettering instead of the snowflake. The 'CD' button on the iDrive controller was also renamed to 'MEDIA' at this time.

there is another heater thing - small letting "OFF" below the smaller of the two fan symbols (again, non climate control model). This is on the 2013 but not on the 2012
