temp setting
Hi all
I have tried to find the temp in the Idrive Can anyone let me know if there are steps through the Idrive I have the pro system display. |

I think everybody would prefer a guage, and I can't understand why BMW does not allow us to have this. It is only a little bit of software, so it would not add to the production cost.

BMW are reluctant to add a standard gauge as the engine temperatures vary too much in normal driving conditions - they're worried this will confuse the driver.

What's surprised me more is the fact that even for M135i they did not consider that it would be something interesting to provide in the iDrive. As the information are avaialble in the M-Performance Race steering wheel, I don't think it would have been difficult to have them add in iDrive. |

If you plug a bluetooth adapter into the OBD2 port, and download an app on your smartphone, you can have a temperature guage on your phone screen. It is available in the databus in the car.
