Opinions on Sensatec

I'd like to hear the opinions on people who got sensatec in their cars.

I still cant decide to take it or not...

Some people say they sweat too much with it on a warmer day while other people say they don't...

That's kinda important for me. I obviously know it won't have the leather smell and so on, but i don't want to go out of my car with a sweaty back everytime...

To be honest... I don't think there will be much difference between Dakota leather and Sensatec in that regard. The Dakota leather is so heavily processed I find it very hard to believe that it still 'breathes' like people tend to claim.

In my opinion: If you don't want a sweaty back you should just get cloth.

Leather looks cool, smells nice and is easy to clean, but it's also too hot in summer and too cold in winter. And you'll slide around in the seat more when cornering.

Had a E91 and now a F10 with black sensatec, I would opt for it again. When I don't tell, passengers are not able to distinct from real leather. My e39 has the expensive upgrade leather, and although it's finer, it's also more delicate and I would never, ever again consider it again seen the price.

Problems with not breathing and sweating etc... are totally unknown to me and my passengers for over 200.000kms practical experience now. I also take it since I have kids (4 and 6yrs) and they spill chocolate milk and coockies in the back seat, with sensatec you have no problem at all to clean it.

So for me, it's a low cost option that I would always check on my order list! Frankly, I don't understand they still offer the fabric seats when sensatec exists.
