Possible, yes. But the Norwegian dealers refuse to do so.

Correct!

I tried to get it done by my local bmw dealer but they refused it. I also wanted them to program rear lights when DRL mode is on, but they refused that too. So i ordered a cable on ebay, and fixed it myself!

I find they're beautiful in close up, but on the car it takes some getting used to.
