New 120d M-Sport M Performance exhaust pipe finisher in chrome..

Hi I have just ordered a New 120d M-Sport, I am looking to order a twin M Performance exhaust pipe finisher in chrome, the BMW performance accessories website says it will fit a 120d but I don't see how it will fit the standard M-Sport body kit as the 120d has only one exhaust?

Any Ideas?

i've seen one or two around here- and i believe that your dealer has to cut the bumper. but i've heard they do a top job.

I got my dual pipes fitted today!
Like iBeech I believed they had to cut out to fit them. But my car came to my surprise as standard with a wide space in the diffusor, meant for dual pipes (it's a 120d M-sport). So the whole thing, included work, ended up with a total cost of only 100 euro. Definitely worth it!
I'll post pictures over the week end.

I have urban model so I had to cut out bigger exhaust holes in the bumper, there is a strip two to cover the cut. My suggestion for the M-sport is to buy Defuser for 125 d

How is it mounted? Cut off a piece of the original one and then weld or screw this thing on?

@ Superspeed: I assume the 100€ do not include the exhaust tip itself, right!?

Exhaust tail is turned on with the exhaust clamp. and the original tubes are cut off.
costs 253 euros in Germany + list. additional list is the glue of tape that is included in the package, no broblemer to do this yourself.

Yeah I knew the price, hence my surprise about his mentioned 100€. But yeah.. I was afraid its a cut-off-job. Not sure I wanna do that with a leased car, although its probably fine when I leave it on on return, because its an improvement.

I do not think it does anything about it is a leaseing car, improving your appearance and used original parts. go for it.

As the car is being built.

Yeah, thats what I know too. They won't complain about an improvement with BMW-parts on my cost. But it'll have to wait.. For one because I don't even have the car yet, and then I need the tip and a new diffusor, which alltogether with labor will cost some bucks..

100€ is all included. I was surprised, but the job was very easy since the 120d M-sport has the same diffusor as the 125. Which means no cuttting and the work is done in a few minutes. So unless the factory installed a "wrong" diffusor on my car, it should be the same in your case.
I don't think even my dealer knew this when ordering, since the offer they gave me initially was A LOT higher

I'll post pictures later this week.

How can the 100€ include the exhausttip itself?!? It has a listprice of ~250€ here at BMW?! If its *that* much cheaper, I'll buy one in norway .

Well, I can't explain. Things are definitely not cheaper here. Either they gave me a nice price since I am a loyal customer, or more likely, they gave me a wrong price.....
What remains is that they did not need to do anything with the diffusor, so it's a cheap operation anyhow.

If uncertain, just wait and see when your car arrives

I shot some pictures of the M-performance twin pipes that I got installed on my car the other day.
About the price: I found the explanation for the low price of 100 Euro: They charged me only for work, not for the parts......
Like I said earlier: The 120d M-sport came with a wide opening in the diffusor, so no cutting out needed.

The last picture shows the car before installing.

Edit:
I gave the wrong info here. The M-sport came with the same single opening in the diffusor as non M-sport! Sorry!

Phoned BMW today about ordering exhaust, that want to charge me £600 for supply and fitting, and they will have to cut out the diffuser. So am going to order it and get a local body shop to fit it. They said the 120d M only has space for one pipe. :-(
