More Sound for the 118i - BMW 1-Series Forum (F20) 135i

Hi

I am thinking about buying an other exhaust for my f20 to get more sound

But the BMW Performance One is only for the 125i

Are there any other options ? Or should i get the Performance with a reduction to fit on my 118i

Any experience?

Yes they have 2 versions

Race and Carbon for about 600 â‚¬

i cannot seem to find any F20 exhausts on their site?

i want to order for my 118i. i have never make mods for cars. but my friends said EISENMANN....expensive i thot for just the sound.....any other brands for 118i other than REMUS?

Yes, I want to know too. I have a 118i Sport and this is the mod that I'm interested in. No cutting on bumper, just change of exhaust tip can give more sound?

You can't get more sound only with a tip. But you can also add a sport air filter and you'll notice a difference for sound.
The Remus exhaust has also a good price. There are not many options yet

Supersprint will have one by the end of the year, at the moment they made it just for the 125i and 125d...a few mockups:

Other Options
1 Get a custom built 'tuned' exhaust system by any number of custom exhaust shops. Any of the above looks are then possible. The one I did not see was the squircle (square/circle) shape like the angle eyes in the zenons or ovals.

2 just increase the size of the pipes as this will change the resonance in the back box. Bigger pipes = depth in sound. Look at ovals pipes to generate volume. Not a lot of cost. Have twin rear tips if you like

3 Wait for the M Performance upgrade system

what about warranty? any change to exhaust system removes warranty immediately.
