Full black panel display f20 - BMW 1-Series Forum (F20) 135i

Anyone have pictures of the full black panel display. Can't find much on the BMW website.

Pic 1 has it, you'll see the resolution of the writing is a bit nicer.

Pic 2 doesnt, you have the standard red writing.

Pic 3 The enhancement gives you access to other options like the speed limit display (£200), which required the enhanced screen to display the road sign image.

It also gives you the blue bar under the revs as we now know

Thanks. I ordered the black panel at £125. I want the blue eco pro information under the rev counter. Will I get this?

Yes it comes with 6WA extended instrumental panel.

i didnt realise you could get this in an F20- i've emailed my sales rep- hoping i can add it to my order- its not due for build until May 7th, so hopefully he can amend it.

Damn, I'm a bit bummed that I didn't get this... Would be very cool to see the real-time consumption bar and brake regeneration info.

you get brake regeneration info on the main display, although nto sure if you get additional with full black panel (very poorly named feature)

Do you mean on the standard main display? I see general Eco Pro info, but nothing related to batteries or brake energy -maybe I'm not reading it correctly?

when i took a test drive at the weekend, i noticed that when i applied brakes, a little animation appeared on the main centre display, depicting energy flowing from the brakes to the battery

I had a look at my display last night while driving, unfortunately no brake energy info (animation or otherwise)...

did you have it in eco pro mode? it only comes on in eco pro.

I think this is a great option, only one problem unless you have all the options that are displayed fitted, I personally would be a bit let down

Well worth the Â£125. I have this option and definitely recommend it. Looks a lot better than the standard basic display.

It's an awesome option indeed, but personally I had hoped that it would ve been a full black panel like on the 5+ series
