Saw one at the dealer yesterday. She ain't no beauty but she looks most def. much better in the flesh.
I'm pretty sure the new 1-series will be a huge sales success again.

Bangle was still @ BMW when the F20 was finalised in 2008.

I like the side and rear profile of this thing. Not sure how I feel about the front though still. I will probably never see one of these on the streets in NA so it really doesn't matter how I feel. Also the 2-series is supposedly going to have a different face so I'm not going to lose sleep over it. I wouldn't mind seeing some accurate renders of said 2-series coupe though.

I actually don't get it. Why is every one complaining that 1 doesn't have enough space for rear seat. I mean, it is a "1" series. If you want a bigger car, get a 3.

Anyway, I actually like the side profile. Actually every BMW's side profile is great. At least in my brain...

LOL probably he meant before Bangle was finalized haha

The profile looks really good but... as soon as it starts to turn to the front that's when the nightmare begins... it feels like the nose of the car is like the widest part of the car...like it's 20cm wider than the rest of the car....

Looks alone its quite ugly, if I was in the market for a small hatchback I would go with the Audi A3.

The smaller the car, the larger the headlights.

If you don't like it, don't buy one!

Didn't the 1 just come out? Time for a redesign already?

I ve driven 118i two times now. The new turbocharged 4-cylinders is really good. Feels fast and good torque down the revs. The steering feedback back is excellent. Respons quickly to reaktions and with precise feedback. Just like previous version, the driving joy is there.
If the car looks good or not depends on the color and wheels. IMO dark colors are needed.
Top quality interior, much better than the old. Rear space has grown but not best in the segment. Downside is the price.

Great review! Love the interior, exterior is horrible though. Not even considering it....
