New F20 1-series Video Shows Off Interior and Exterior Details

This new video courtesy of BMW UK showcase the interior of the F20 1-series hatchbacks and closes in on some external details. Seen clearly is the beautiful new dash with its large 6.5 inch display screen. Also of note is a look at the ambient lighting located on the F20's B-pillar (at 30 seconds).

The video also features some close looks at the exterior as well. The frontal shots show the sculpting in the front fascia which seem to be easily lost in photos, but which improves upon the often criticized "empty" space between the headlights and kidney grilles on the F20.

Interior is definitely an upgrade.

The car is growing on me but I hope they finesse the coupe a bit more.

Cool. BMW is on a roll with making some ugly cars. They ran out of ideas for headlights or something? My dead grandmother can think of something better.

Does the key light up? Can't tell if that's just reflection from the ambient lights in the interior.

I think that^ was just to illustrate the possible colors u can have. I wouldn't think the colors "animate"...

Hi guys, I'm new here. unfortunately i have to start on a negative note. the f20 is one of the cars that really tests my loyalty, really honestly i think i wouldn't buy that car, it pains me to say this but Audi doesn't even need to redesign their A3 to beat this...

lol. my mini has the ambience color change button. its ok, but i would never have thought it'd make it into a bmw. kinda sad. still hate those headlights too
