F20 1-Series Test Vehicles on Video - BMW 1-Series Forum (F20) 135i

The guys at spyshots.nl have done it again and bring us some nice video footage of the 1er in action. Seeing the car driving around the streets of Germany gives some good insight into the general proportions of this car, and it certainly looks wider and more low slung and compared to the current car. This is still the 5 door version of the car and we have yet to see what a coupe version would look like.

Heres what we know so far. The 5/3-door variants are due as a 2011 model and will sport the familiar 4-6cyl variants which range from anywhere between 115-265hp. An all-wheel drive version has been seen testing (the car with those big silver discs over the wheels) and is likely to be offered at launch. Rumors of a 3 cylinder engine persist but not yet in any way shape or form verified.

You say the video doesnt work, so you didn't see it, yet at the same time claim the car is going to be ugly. You must have some kind of telepathy....... I don't think anyone on this board knows yet what the car will look like, anyone who makes statements like that just looks stupid. The engine it's kind of loud!!! I dont think i like that!! Sounds like a small tractor!!

i dont really like wagon. I think people bought the 1 bc it is small and it is super responsive and fun to drive. i dont think people will buy a 1 series wagon because they want a car to haul stuff and it is kinda small.

Not unless BMW can magically make the 1 series cheaper AND sell it for a much lower price. That's not likely to happen.
