Nice system TXSTYLE! I just updated my entire system recently after 10 plus years of 5.1 to a 11.2.4 and holy sh#! what a difference! I thought a long time about which all in one AVR (for space reasons) to go with and I ended up with the new Marantz SR8012. It’s the first time I haven’t had a Yamaha receiver in 20 years. I’m guessing I would of been just as happy with the 3070 or the Denon I was considering as well.

Thanks! Will do. We are currently awaiting furniture for this room. My insisted on the "Cloud Modular Pit" from Z Gallery. I must admit, it is comfortable AF! We did not want tradicional theater seating. Too mid 2000s.

I know that's a serious setup you're enjoying. Today's receivers (like this Yammy and the Marantz) really don't require the need for extra amps. They put out plenty of quality power. This receiver has outputs for 2 additional Zones!

Thank you. And I agree on "reviews and feedback" when making purchase decisions.

Definitely HDMI. I don't want to have devices battling for connections. I'll use the bluetooth for device connections like: phone and tablet through the receiver.

Got around to snapping a few pics of screen images. One of the thing that I am so impressed with about my setup and this projector, is the Black Levels!
Looking at the screenshot of Transformers in 4k below, I chose this particular shot because of the extremely bright light coming from the staff but look at the surrounding dark and shaded areas??? They are perfectly black with zero bleeding of light. And colors are super crisp.
This is further demonstrated by the Disney logo and XBOX screenshot. Keep in mind, these are pics from my LG phone.

So it is not a fully 4k projector. It uses a plethora of processors to provide it's "4k Enhanced" image output. Now I researched the shit out of this and a few other projectors including true 4k units. The difference is Native 4k units cost at minimum of $5k. I grabbed this one for $2,500! (which is lower than retail) After countless hours of reviews, research, the general consensus is that this unit produces a 4k image that rivals native 4k units. I am VERY pleased and after our first house warming party this past weekend, so were everyone in attendance. I received a particular compliment from a friend of mine who just built an amazing 5,000 sq ft home in Virginia with a larger Home Theater room than mine. But he hasn't purchased the equipment yet. He's been to "countless stores specializing in these" as well as homes that have them. He said that "my setup when comparing screen size, PQ and sound, rivals anything he has seen or heard." Very humbling to hear indeed.

This video is very informative and these guys are super reputable as reviewers:

i will do a little more research on this projector. thanks for the YouTube video. my HT won't be done til later in the year and the projector will most likely be one of the last things to purchase as you know how electronics changes every year.

Man that's nice. Mine is not quite as good, but pretty happy nonetheless especially since I have been renting since I moved to DC and don't want to create a custom space for everything:
Samsung 70 KU6300
Samsung HW-K950
Nvidia Shield, XBox One & PS4 Pro
Rocketfish HDMI switch so I can use the only HDR port in the TV

All controlled with a Harmony Elite Remote.

I was kind of using my QNAP as a Plex server, but rarely pump content to the TV for that.

After 4 months... Our furniture finally arrived today!

I have wanted to cancel on more than one occasion for the delay. But my wife insisted we wait it out. I am glad we did. It is truly among the best made furniture (Italy) and the fact that it is modular, makes it very versatile. It will seat six adults.
Neither of us wanted the traditional theater seating. We can actually crash & sleep comfortably on this.
The Cloud Modular Sectional from Z Gallerie in grey.
