Just for grins I decided to spot some on the way home from work.. and I saw two cars

one of them was a Toyota RAV4

the other one was a Toyota Highlander but we passed it too quickly before i could take a shot..

After driving a rental Corolla (recent model year) all this week, I have concluded that no one that drives a typical Toyota gives a shit about what they drive.

This thing is a POS!!

There's a name for this type of behavior. I forget the term, but when you see something like "the dent that affects all Toyotas" your brain will automatically start looking for them and cast aside everything else. I'd be willing to be that if you stopped looking for Toyotas, and only for cars with dents in the rear bumper, that you would see a similar pattern of dents regardless of the make of vehicle.
I have to admit that the first post with all the pictures of dents did make me laugh.

Would someone approach any driver of a dented Toyota, and ask him how he managed to get one of those dents, so we can have some statistics on this?

I was lurking the mean streets of Maryland today, but didn't have any sightings

one of our previous marketing girls hit the cement pillars in the parking garage twice and her husbands parked truck once [she had a highlander], she also managed to run over squirrel in a golf cart [instead of fucking stopping..] and kill it infront of everyone at a golf tournament.. clients loved seeing that.
