In the US, maybe, in many other countries, not as much.

Have been to Cuba a couple of times, enjoyed it very much. It is a very popular tourist destination for Canadians.

Oh man, he's awful. Never voted for the man, never would have. I'm hopeful that this begins to show his true nature, but there are so many people with their heads in the sand who simply believe what the media likes to show. Funny thing is, even CBC is starting to get a little harder nosed with the Lieberals and asking tougher questions.

Whether that is because they feel they have no way to ignore what they are doing, or in an effort to pretend they are not biased to set us up to ignore some future event, I do not know. But pleasant to see them squirm all the same. I sincerely hope he doesn't get re-elected.

Trump will be interesting though...another two months or so till he takes office and can actually do anything. The question is, will he? Or does political office corrupt absolutely? It seems to me that up here, Kevin O'Leary is watching Trump closely to see if there's a chance for him to pull something similar in Canada. And I might be ok with that...as long as it's not another Lieberal government.

States has a golden opportunity to get stuff done with control in the House and Senate and Office. I don't think Canada will ever be in that same situation.

My sons uncle was a heavyweight Olympic boxer
. His family is anticastro. He was arrested, thrown into jail for several years without trial, and then allowed to emmigrate to the US when his weight dropped into the 80lbs range and he wasn't able to walk for over a year. Mind you this is a 40 something year old heavyweight boxer. Now here he's back up to 200lbs and walking. So much for speaking out in cuba.

Thanks for this personal and horrible glimpse into the destruction that dictators cause. The most amazing thing about his story is that this is a good outcome. Generally it ends with a cephalic hemorrhage from trauma caused by high-speed lead poisoning.
