Hi guys,

I’ve seen a few threads offering advice on how to do this but they were all a little vague… Hopefully this will be helpful to anyone having a novice stab at coding. PLEASE take great care and do your own research until you feel confident enough to do it.

I used Esys Ultra $130, added CC switch module to MFSW….

If car has Automatic Air Con as standard and simple LIM function on MFSW

Select F20 > Editors & Viewers > Read FA(VO) > Save FA “F2x_FA_Original”> Read SVT > Save SVT “F2x_SVT_Original” > Expand FA, FZAuftrag, Type > SALAP Element > Right-Click > New SALAPA Element (or press EDIT. at top of FA Window > type 544 and press enter > Save


Select Expert Mode (left column) Select Coding> find header folder for ICM > right-click > Code, repeat for KOMBI & FEM > Save (top) > Code NCD (or simply ‘Code’) in lower-right window “Code NDC” was greyed-out when I did it.

Once done, exit ESYS, shut down PC, remove cables, stop engine and lock car for at least 10 minutes. If you try immediately, the cluster will say Cruise Control Failure and cluster will be warning of Stability Control issues.

Take for a drive and test.
