BMW to launch "Super Sports" 135i in 2010, with CF Roof, and upgraded 6 cyl turbo

Release in 2010? Perfect time to trade in the 135, perhaps?

I'm curious to hear more about this upgraded 6 cyl turbo engine. I wonder what changes are being made?

I also wonder why they aren't putting it under the "M" badge, it sounds like it will be just as serious as any M car. Perhaps they worry M3 sales would be hurt by an "M" car priced considerably cheaper?

Looking at the current dirrection, X5M, X6M, lack of a E9x CSL M3...

It won't have an M badge because the M1 badge is reserved for the still-defunct M1 supercar.

Considering the N54's block came out of a E46 3 series, I would hope they'd get around to upgrading it.
