Confused about the SnapIn adaptor
Was looking at getting a snap in adaptor but what is actually required for it to fit. I have the little rubber tray in the armrest with just a bunch of holes under it.
Thanks |

Can I ask what the Snap in adaptor is really good for?
I don't have an iPhone, but I use the Apple USB cable to the car for full functionality and music library browsing on my iPod on the iDrive screen. And my Samsung Galaxy S3 is connected via Bluetooth, with browsing of SMS and contacts through iDrive, and streaming of audio from Spotify. What does the iPhone cradle do in addition to this? |

I assume it charges, if so excellent, I don't like clutter or wires or things sliding about so having the ability to charge the phone neatly and use the USB key for music is a bonus.
Is this the correct one for an F20: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Genuin...item2a2c292afa Pick up my new to me 118D M SPort on Friday, looking forward to it. Thanks all. Last edited by matg; 05-29-2013 at 04:01 AM.. |

It would but the I can't use a USB key for music, I could obviously use the phone but mine is only a 16gb iPhone and its full of apps, so a 32gb or 64gb USB stick is better for music.
Its a lot to ££'s charge a phone but I'm uber fussy about stuff like this. |

IMHO the snap-in adapter is a complete waste of money... |
