Looks very good.

Is your hood open? Looks like the opening between the hood and front is a little wider of the left hand side of the picture.

It may just have not closed properly. Pop up the bonnet and close it again and see if that works.

That happened to me when i didn't close mine properly and pushing it down didn't work. I had to pop up the bonnet and close it a little bit harder.

I dont think you should fix it. Its a brand new car, go to the dealer and let them fix it! Surely this isnt normal..:s

Beautiful car by the way!

I tried it by just letting it sit and then i pushed it down with hands. The right side seems solid, the left side has a bit of a up down bounce, feels like spring.

Should i release it from a height to close it properly? I dont like doing this "gravity close"

Yea you need to do the gravity close unfortunately. I also tried leaving it there and pushing it down but it was springy and didn't click down

Congratulations.

As for the bonnet. The f20 bonnet catches at both sides. You need to close it with a little force/drop to get it to close properly otherwise you end up with only 1 side closed properly like yours. I've noticed a few people driving around like this.

Just sounds so bad when people do that! Sounds like poeple are breaking it. But if thats the only way, it will have to be.

Looks fab! Congratulations.

Re bonnet, most recent cars I've owned suggest dropping the bonnet from 30-40cms to close properly. Go for it.

It is because they have a latch on each side of the bonnet ('crash' hold down feature) that why you need to drop it from 30cm to enguage it on both sides.
You will feel the bonnet gets weighted at that point.

If your car breaks because you drop the hood from 30cm I'd be more worried about how the rest of it was put together to be honest.
