Sounds like a pretty nice improvement to me!
Do you got the 116d with a 1.6l engine or with the down tuned 2.0l engine?

- This is an insane improvement! How in earth good this be save for the car? 2.6 seconds faster from 0-100km/h, and lets not forget to mansion the 100-200km/h improvement of nearly 18 seconds or something like that.

Test done with : 2 persons in car with 2 kiddos seats behind bolted on and automatic d drive full of liquids ..
I believe car can do better times with more aggresive driving dedicated to best times..
i believe less than 6.0 secs

The 116i autobox is tuned! It's pretty insane. The guys of Br-performance did a pretty amazing job. It's a complete diverent car. Didn't do any measurements or things like that. On 98 it has 224hp (engine). With 95 6% less.

The exhaust is really loud above 4000rpm, which makes you feel like you are in a tuned car. The automatic is way more refined with the higher torque. On the highway the cars feel very relaxed, likes it can handle anything up a head. 0-100km/h is insane, especially on wintertyres ;-).

I'd kept a close look to my cool water temperature and oil temperature: It isn't diverent than before the tuning.

can you measure 0-100, 100-200 and if you have opportunity, can you roll with other cars which have smiler performance like polo gti etc. also dyno would give us a lot information like how many hp, whp do you have

Yesterday I did a 0-100km/h in 6.37 seconds on wet surface on GPS. I will post some video's in the future. Let's hope i'll meet a Golf/Polo GTI, GTE soon to let you know, if the Bimmer can handle them :-).

I didn't run on 98 yet, but on 95 theirs no missfires at all. The car runs very smooth. On the higher RPM the fueling is richer, for safety reasons.

Its a great upgrade! I'm running narrow winter tyres at the moment. I'm sure the times will improve with beter traction. The 0 to 100km/h timing is done on 95 fuel, do you drive on 95 or 98?

Not necessarily. My old E30 318iS did 0-100 in 8 seconds flat with winter tyres, and 9 seconds flat with summer tyres. I guess cold air and lighter wheels with less intertia helps, but winter tyres have good traction when spinning. That enabled me to do a very aggressive start with lots of wheel spin, and keeping the RPM high all the way to 100. The summer tyres lost traction when spinning, and made the engine bog down when they were not spinning.

I think you are right. What i didn't do is a aggressive start, like to be gentle to the car now its got way more horsepower. For purpose of traction the 1.6l turbo is great. The motor really builds up the power, so you don't lose traction of the line.
