January/February has been kind of flat for many car brands this year.
i.e. audi, mercedes, cadillac, lexus are all flat, infiniti is down, etc. http://www.goodcarbadcar.net/

Lost me as customer after problems with my 16 f80 and not taking care of me with lots of issues with my f10. Its really a shame they can't get the reliablility up. I really like the cars when they work!

And what's with the single-digit purchases of certain cars in the Mini line-up?

I have asked this before and am asking again, since I have never gotten an answer.
Is there a way to get the break down by the model and not just the series? I.e. 335 v 328 v 320? Thanks a bunch if anybody knows the answer. |

Too many average cars in range. Paying the price for trying to be in every niche instead of producing exceptional cars but fewer versions. Design is also an issue. I have a couple of friends who are going back to MB after a 5/10 year break

If They don't change Their design language inside and outside , don't SEE a bright future FOR bmw. Nothing new on Their lineup and Their interiors Look ten years old.

Design ,design,design.
Bmw recent design is too safe. I saw the gle coupe yesterday, it's screams look at me, 90% of buyers don't care about how it drives compared to X6. |

The convertible is transitioning from the R56 to the F56. They wound production of the older model down early leading up to the new one's release. The Paceman is a strange thing that makes little sense. A coupe-ish SUV like an X4 is one thing, but a two-door SUV in today's world should have been rethought. I suspect a new Paceman, if it exists, will be more like an X4/X6 type of vehicle. Which is to say, still not high volume and not something I'd ever consider, but some people apparently do. |

So the 'brand new' 7 series in February barely edged out the 8 year old predecessor and got trounced by a 3 year old MB S class almost 2.5 to 1.
I got a few quotes for a 750xi in Dec and again in Feb, and there were no inventory or production constraints, order what you want, ~ 6 weeks for delivery. |

Whew. I'm not about to be an armchair analyst, but boy do BMW's cars bore me, and the sales show it. I think every model could merit a complex case about why it hasn't sold except the new 7 - that's simply pathetic. Its a shame. It JUST started production and it already looks like it has been out for 10 years, neon club lighting aside. Make something to drool over.
