Paint help!
Hi All,
Need some advice. I found a chip on the front left brake calliper today. It's an M Performance calliper in Blue. As these are baked to keep the paint on, it is unlikely I will ever get it looking like new again. However, the chip is right on the corner of the piston and if left will just get worse. So, any ideas where to get the paint from (like a touch up pen). BMW was not so helpful on this matter. Cheers D |

You might want to go to a reputable auto paint shop. Some shops specalise in colouring calipers. They could touch up the caliper using a paint that has a reactor added to it to withstand the high temp.

you can buy high temp paint at most Auto shops. I have painted calipers with it and it never had any problems or discoloration over 2 years of hard driving. Im sure you could touch it up with some to prevent it from getting worse.
