Rich's M135i
Hi guys, have been over on Babybmw.net for a couple of years now, decided it was about time I investigated 1addicts a bit further!
I've got a 5 door Estoril Blue M135i, done 30,000 miles now, and is still a work in progress in terms of mods: How she arrived: Black grills fitted: Milltek arrived: Milltek fitted: Superchipped - optimistic dyno run: Kenu Airframe: Climair wind deflectors: DIY Refurb'd winter wheels (E46 Style 67 reps - 4 x front wheels): Scrubbing the winters in: DIY Led strip boot light mod: http://www.babybmw.net/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=55910 Black vinyl wrapped mirrors & blades: Lowered on Eibachs, running on Dare X2s wrapped in Yokohama AD08s Blue Mirrors Sparco Assetto Garas - didn't need more wheels, but they were too pretty to ignore Alcantara Wheel and M6 Paddles Performance Seat (driver side only so far) fitted! http://www.babybmw.net/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=65071 Back to black mirrors, with tinted mirror indicators\repeaters: |

Cheers pal.
In short: 1. Disconnect Battery (wait 30 mins at least) 2. Pop out airbag (), disconnect connectors 3. Unbolt steering wheel 4. Unbolt paddles from steering wheel 5. Swap electrical switches from OEM paddles in M6 paddles (bought on eBay) 6. Put it all back together. The electrical switches are held into the OEM paddles by a single push bolt - so you just have to pop this out and then they fit perfectly into the M6 paddles (once you've also removed the switches from the M6 paddles). |

Done the m6 paddle swap too. Simple but can be fiddly when taking apart paddles and reassembling. Great mod though, especially combined with new type m135i steering wheel.
Maybe simpler option could be using f8x m3/4 paddles (different part number from m5/6) if they work as is on f2x cars.
