Just a warning to anyone else selling parts on the forum. If member RobbiGia offers to buy something from you just delete his messages.

He purchased a used EWG JB4 from me in this thread. Nearly a month after receiving the part all the sudden claimed it wasn't for an EWG BMW (there was a whole discussion in the threat about it being EWG and NOT PWG) and that the harness was damaged and that I needed to refund him. Come to find out, him or his shop took the harness apart for some reason, the buyer admitted to this in messages to me and now it "doesn't work."

So I refused to issue a refund as I can't be responsible for something he damaged. However, PayPal didn't even listen to what happened and just refunded his money. Then I received the parts back and the harness is all taken apart and missing pieces now. I talked to other forum members and I guess this is common, people buy the part, steal the pieces they need to repair what they have, then claim back on PayPal.

Long story short, he fucked me over and now Burger has quoted me $100 just to have the part repaired back to working condition. Unless you want to also get fucked over, don't ever do business with RobbiGia.

Sorry to hear. You would think that a member who's been here 5+ years with 14 itrader ratings is legit. Sadly it's usually a crapshoot.

The worst thing is that you think PayPal will protect you, but 99.9999% of the time, they side with the buyer. Unfortunately, it's always seller beware because there's lots of ways people scam others online. Sorry this happened, but it's good to warn people.
