Cut off date for M140i final Production run ?

the next 1-series (FW Drive only) is mooted for maybe early 2019 (Europe) - anybody got an inside track of when they plan to cease production of the F20/21 1-series ?

I'd like to get in the queue for another M140i, but not too early - this one is only 13 months old ...

I'd suggest you should work on it with the dealer: what you actually need is an order placement spot which depends on demand. Clear it up if they can alert you before too late and if they can, try to engage them (better several dealerships at once as one always fails

). Otherwise a safe but annoying game could be keeping an order placed until you can't replace it (they'll love you, of course

).

As above, most likely summer 2018. I will be ordering mine in March.
