Decision time: Actively seeking advice on N47

The timing chain in my 2013 116d went out last year, and was replaced under the original manufacturer's warranty by BMW. I'm not sure how likely it is to go out a second time, and this is my primary motivator for wanting to switch cars at this point. Does anyone know how reliable the timing chains are after being replaced? I'd like to avoid paying for a second replacement and would likely trade it in for a newer/refreshed 1 series if there is information confirming my concerns.

Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.
