Hey all, just figured I would let you guys know what I have been up too lately. We have come up with a really cool idea, its called "Defend the Bar Band" where it will be an Internet based competition with real time voting for your favorite Bar Band. The winner will receive a record deal from Road Runner Records. If you or someone you know is in a band and looking to get the name out, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

Heres the official e-mail blast and bulletin that has been posted on myspace and craigslist:

Few experiences are more authentic than seeing a bar band that plays with burning passion. A few committed souls playing their hearts out on a small stage just a few feet away. Leaving nothing between you and the music.

BTW, before anyone asks, I have NO pull what so ever in picking a winner, so don't ask me to pick you

The finalist will be chosen through an Internet based voting system, a winner will be chosen from the semi-finalist by a voting panel from Road Runner Records.
