I remember when this episode first aired how EVERYBODY was talking about these shoes, now they are finially for sale on ebay. These are some of the hottest air forces ever, and some of the fellow shoe fanatics on this web site will appreciate this link. If only i had 11k

I can't believe people are willing to pay $11,000 for those shoes. Not only are they ugly but Air1's are played out.

Yea 11ks a little much those are up there with some of the most expensive shoes ive seen on there some went for like 29k a few months ago tho. Some people are hard core into it. That shoe was never realsed to the public they only made 50 pair and were given to HBO employees only. The one on ebay are also the actual pair from the show. Pretty badass

I'm all for having a few pairs for various activities, just never thought there was anything collectible about em'.

Cannot imagine anyone out in the world even noticing.

I'm not really into AF1s but those are nice (but not $11k nice).

It might just be rumor, but there was some talk of a more 'general release" version of these shoes in the future (not the baby blues ones).

You're completely missing the point.

Whether it's cars or shoes, people are into different things. What might seem ridiculous and expensive to one person might be completely commonplace and normal for another.

It's ignorant and closeminded of Revlis to downplay that particular sub-culture just because it doesn't coincide with his sensiblities.

A more accurate comparison would be a person who simply needs "A car to get you from Point A to Point B". Said person then goes on to say that Revlis is an idiot for wanting to spend more than $xxxx on transportation.

No one needs a BMW. No one needs $11,000 sneakers.

They're luxuries and you can't really quantify the intrinsic value they provide for the people who can afford them.
