Cameras are 4MP Hikvisions, mix of bullets, turrets, domes and cubes.

I should warn you, though - I only opted out of the security system because I didn't want to risk footage of the bi-weekly, pseudo-satanic blood rituals being leaked out to the public. Mind, these involve a variety of tactical hunting blades; resurrected nether-demons from the 5th and 7th levels of hell with the ability to read your mind and slice through your face with their supernatural eye beam; and an oft-ornery, fire-spitting, leather-clad warrior princess name Schotka who looks like the offspring of John Cena and mutant Kim Kardashian. And sometimes, well, they hang around a few days to visit.

I know, I know - what about the neighbors, right? Don't worry, we are extremely quiet about it and very careful not to awaken the pack of wild dingos they house in their back yard. They tell us they are only there to protect us all from the the Tiger Snakes and Marbled Scorpions, some of which, for reasons we cannot explain (but figure has something to do with Satan), can shoot venom at you from up to a mile away.

That all having been said, I keep a stack of gold bullion on the back porch, and there's a suitcase full of money in the shed. Cheers mate!

I'm embarrassed to post up a still shot of my garage. It's a mess right now.

Mine could be cleaner also. Those garage doors and openers are from the early 90s and desperately need to be replaced. I also want to build a shed, and get everything off the ground and make the garage for cars only, nothing else.

Always something to do, right?

I have empty boxes piled up in the middle of the garage. Tools strewn about which I know is bad. Makes it frustrating trying to find that one socket I need. I would kill to have my garage looking like yours right now. It was at one point but life just got in the way and I got lazy with cleaning up after myself.

I've got YiHome cameras after a recommendation from a friend when he showed me how he had them set on automatic notifications of movement for the average times they're not home, so I've done the same.

Panning cameras were around $80 each and put them in the living room (top of stairs) and downstairs (end of hallway), then recently picked up a 4 pack of stationery cameras for $80 and put them in the kitchen, 2 car garage, 1 car garage, driveway. 1 of the 4 had an issue switching from night to day mode, they sent a replacement and I fixed the iffy one and put it in the back yard.
