What car? I had DWS06 for 8k miles and been driving on AS 3+ they're no match to DWS06 in the rain and much noisier IMO

DWS 06's are greatly improved over the original DWS's.

525i: Have had Continental DWS 06 on the car for 2 years, love them. I had the first gen Michelin PS AS prior to that (2013), they lasted about 8,000 miles over 2 years and had tread separation on both front tires. (I realize they have improved since)

To be honest I haven’t done a huge number of wet miles - California doesn’t rain that much. However, when I have driven in rain, the RE71R’s have felt confident and grippy. In contrast to my other car which has Pirelli Corsa’s, which I feel I have to be much more careful in the wet.
