Bi XENON headlights

Hello group!

If this is a topic discussed in the past, I apologize since I'm quite new here
I ordered my F20 without the Xenon headlights and I soon found myself regreting it
So I asked the local BMW dealer if there is any way that I can install the system now....almost a month after my car was delivered.
They told me that it is impossible...and that there is no official procedure regarding aftermarket Bi-Xenon headlights.
Is this the case?
I've seen on youtube some guys in Turkey who did it successfully and uploaded a video displaying their work.
Any further info is greatly appreciated.....

Regards from Greece
Teo

If you are talking about original Xenons, you can do it but it will cost ALOT of money....if you are talking about aftermarket, simply Don't do it!!

I was thinking about original Xenons but the BMW dealer in my city said that there is no procedure.
Either you put it on order or you can't put it at all....that is what he said!
Is he correct or should I ask another BMW dealer?

Link to official xenon headlamp retrofit.

BMW has started offering Xenon headlamp retrofits on some models officially but they are very expensive. it appears some dealers are more comfortable with it than others.

As an example, here is a link to the old 1-series xenon retrofit:
http://www.bmw.co.uk/en/topics/owner...ryId=4142.html

THIS IS NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR THE F20 (new) 1-SERIES.

You can also get a xenon to LED headlamp retrofit on models where LED headlamps are offered, like the 7-series, 6-series and shortly the 5-series.

There is no retrofit offered, so the dealer cannot do it "officialy". They can do it only as spare parts (i have done it at my Z4) but they have to know how and of course it will be very expensive. As a note: you can do anything as long as you are willing to pay the price.
