I also have hartge tunning installed about six months ago. Last week I started getting drivetrain fault on my screen. I talked to hartge directly and they told me it shouldnt be from the tunning box. I went to BMW and they said my ECU is going crazy. Nothing is wrong with the engine they told me and they said they will instalk new software upgrade. They did not find the tunning box. But on this forum I read that othrr people are getting this fault without tunning boxes and even on m5's. Anyone had similar problems with f20?

Where did you buy the Hartge from?

You boys with the M135s are lucky. There's nothing available for the F20 125i to bring it up to 328i power .

Australian BMW dealers don't have the M PPK available anymore for the F20 125i (bizarrely it was only available for a few months) and there aren't many reputable tuning companies out there offering anything off the shelf for the F20 125i. Most seem offer ridiculous gains for little money and I am hesitant to go down that path..

A colleague of mine recently got this problem in his 2013 116i Auto. Just popped up sometimes when he was out driving. Stock car, not tuned. It will be fixed by the dealer in the nearest future i presume. So there's a possibility that it has nothing to do with the Hartge ECU.

Anyone here with the ACS tune for the 116i?

Im almost 100% sure that this is another BMW recall. I was going to get ACS tunning but it was really expensive. But still getting 204hp out of 116i sounds tempting.

I have also installed the Hartge tuning box. Just came back from a 800km long drive. The car worked flawlessly

Had my Hartge ECU in for a year. 35,000+ miles later and no problems. Still rocking 375bhp : )

Yup, got my Hartge for more than a year with lots of mods too.

No issue at all.
