Comparison between ACS and Hartge engine performance modules

I am deciding between ACS and Hartge Engine performance upgrade module ( piggybag ) for my F20 116i Auto.

I am having a bit of difficulties to understand which one actually produce more power and torque at lower revs ( 1500-4000) and speed (0-100kms).

Hartge mentions the gain of 171hp at 4400 rpm , while ACS 204hp is at 5900rpm.
Again for Torque, Hartge indicates 265nm at 2000 rpm , and ACS 290nm is at 3000 RPM.

Does it mean Hartge will reach the similar level for power and torque at rpm stated at ACS catalogue ?

The bit that confuses me is how each one performs better in reality at lower rev and speed ?

No, the figures from Hartge are peak values, so they will be lower at higher RPM. Without graphs from ACS, it is not possible to tell if they can outdo Hartge at lower RPM as well, but I would guess that they do.

But I am curious, why is low RPM performance important to you? Do you consider 3000 RPM too high, and if so, why?

By the way, I found this in another thread on this forum:

It has to be said that the blue line is rather conservative. I have seen some dyno graphs for these cars (including my own), and they have all been higher than the factory figures. Our stock 116i had 139 hp at the rear hubs on 95 octane fuel in Comfort Mode.

Thanks ovekvam for the reply.
I live in NZ which speed limit is around 110km. However having a car with good torque and power helps a lot when driving around hills or even in town to pass traffic quickly. So that means the engine usually revs maximum to 4000 till it reaches the speed or have to brake as obstacles appear in the front.

So that's why I'm after something to boos the existing performance of the car and thought either of those could do.
But not sure of they will contribute as they claim or not, hence my post here

If you floor the throttle, your gearbox should use the full rev range all the way up to 6500 RPM to give you maximum performance. Low RPM is mostly for economy driving. Maybe you can gain the extra power you need just by pressing down harder on the throttle pedal?
