Sedan or coupe
I am looking to buy a 335 and am very torn between the sedan or coupe. Personally I have only owned coupes in the past. I am leaning more towards the sedan due to the fact I've never owned one but for some reason I like the style of the coupe better. Please leave comments/opinions below! Thank you.

There are several things to consider in your case,
is comfort a big issue for you? if yes you are more likely to be more comfortable in the sedan (or gran coupe) How many passengers will you have regularly? if more than 4 a coupe is a no no Do you prefer some of the 'coupe like features' and can you live without them? (i.e.: how the windows roll up a little higher when you close a door ect) if yes then a sedan is going to feel kind of boring In the end if you are still torn between the two you can just get yourself a Gran Coupe like the post before me mentioned because it combines the characteristics of both. It's a sedan with coupe-like features. good luck! |

I don't understand why someone would buy a 3 series coupe in 2015. Just get a 4 gran coupe as Bols mentioned. If you want the sedan, then go with the 335. Style is all about personal preference. You like coupes. If it's practical enough for you, then get it Otherwise, sedans are a lot more practical for obvious reasons. Another thing you might not have known about sedans is it's easier to get in and out of them in parking lots. The door is a lot shorter, so it doesn't swing dangerously close to the vehicle next to you. I love coupes, but practically speaking they didn't make sense for me after I finished college.

Completely agreed! And a little bit out of my price range, I am looking to buy a car CASH, not finance or lease. So, that is why I am looking for a 335 in 2015. |

LOL, alright then. It comes down to practicality then. To me, a sedan is just so much more practical. A BMW will look good with 2 doors OR 4 doors. Is this your daily driver? If yes, then give the sedan a shot

I agree, a BMW is a BMW. I've had three coupes in the past two years and I think I'm ready for bigger vehicle, but very indecisive haha. Thanks for the opinion though, I appreciate it! |

Also, great decision to not finance. I haven't had a car payment in years and it's very liberating. I refuse to buy anything that I can't pay cash for now (except for a house since the alternative is renting which is basically the same thing as a house payment). |

Heels* no sneakers. Yes I get bored easily, so I really want this to be a car for a year or two at least. I agree, it's unfortunate because everything is based off of credit and they would prefer you to finance but I was always a firm believer to pay cash. If I don't have the money then it can wait.

3er coupe has less usable space inside than my 1er. Get the sedan.
