I know it's a pain in the butt but at least it was on a plastic bumper... It'd be a lot worse if they had tried it on the boot or somewhere else where metal could be damaged

I had exactly the same happen to me in May. Here in South Africa, a new one costs more than £40.

Will the chip show when the bage is back? The badges don't normally come off easily so it could have been a lot worse but still annoying. Karma.

The guy in parts at the dealer said that the one for the F20 is a bit different as it sits on the nose rather than the bonnet. I don't use ebay anyway i don't trust it, no doubt half of the ones for sale on there have just been nicked off someone else's car.

Or, alternatively, have a sachet of battery acid underneath the new badge that will explode when removed by scum.
