Problem with 18" styling M461 ferric Grey wheels..
Four weeks ago I took delivery of my 2015 LCI 118D M-sport.
Very happy with my 3rd F20, its fully loaded with adaptive suspension, navi pro, 8AT, full LED, sunroof, beige leather, 18” wheels etc... BUT At delivery the dealer told me there is a problem with the 18” styling M461 in Ferric Grey and they were not jet mounted. The set consists of different rims front and back and they received 4 front rims. It was supposed to be a matter of days/weeks… Today I have been informed (after complaining at BMW Netherlands) that they still cannot give an estimated time of delivery. I am not happy with this case because I just don’t like the original 17” M-sport. What make me a bit mad is that I see a lot of LCI F20’s with M461 on 2nd hand websites and dealer demos… Any else experiencing this?? It’s really bothering me. Here are some pictures of my new car without my shiny M461's... Last edited by Mjlbakker; 07-28-2015 at 02:00 PM.. Reason: adding pics |

"18" M Double-spoke style 461 M with mixed tyres" and "18" M Double-spoke style 461 M in Ferric Grey" (no promise of mixed tyres for that Grey) In the Netherlands' configurator they appear to present the difference as "Sterspaak" ("Star spoke"?) against "Dubbelspaak" ("Double spoke"?) which does not look correct as the design is pretty much the same(?). You can have a shiny set, of course. It can be mixed too. But it won't be grey, 'cause it's not shiny. |

M461 comes with in a different width in the front (7,5Jx18) vs. back (8,0Jx18). Half an inch difference.

Now I see it in an older browser. Well, if they really mean it I must have been wrong. I'm sorry. Then it's a kind of strange they fail to deliver.
But greys don't shine anyway. |

The longer wait will leave you happier when they do arrive sorry to hear you're having the trouble - that's never good when you order something (especially an expensive car) and part of it is not as expected.

Beautiful LCI mjlbakker, congrats! Sorry for hijacking your thread but does anyone know what the color on your diffuser is? Dark shadow? I am planning to install m sport bumpers on my mineral grey f20 and am curious about the color codes...

Why where the 18inch not placed in the factory?
As far as I know, all the M-bumper inserts are the same colour. My car is Mineral Grey. The bumper inserts look the same colour as the car. |

On a mineral grey the colour difference is really minor imo. (btw, my car is pre-LCI, same as your car I guess...) I didn't knew there were difference color bumper inserts for M-sport? |
