Haha thanks dude! I would've gotten darker window tints but this is the maximum tint allowed by my local authorities...

Looking good. Have fun stopping the stone chips on the bumper. Mine is 2 months old and already looks like its been peppered with a shotgun. I will make a post on here later with all of the poor after sales experience Ive had from BMW as well. Im not really happy with the way BMW treat you once they have your money.... but as far as the car is concerned yeah they are brilliant best car Ive owned from a drivers point of view.

Enjoy

The best trick is to keep a good distance to the car in front of you. Driving slowly helps too.

Yeah I know that but the paint is so soft and I drive on uk roads (M25) every day. sorry but I think there are a lot of faults here to do with BMW not my driving style. Also why make a bumper with a undercoat of black on a white car...couldnt be any more stoopid imho

Are you sure there is a black undercoat? The plastic is rather dark before it gets painted. Since the plastic is quite flexible, the paint has to be somewhat soft to avoid cracking up.

Well its black undderneath so every stone chip shows up like a sore you know what, which as I say is rather stupid on a white car.

Ive had other brand new white cars before done the same journeys and never seen any chipping like this. its total nonsense especially when you consider this is a premium brand.....

On the other cars, what color was there underneath the white paint? Maybe they had metal bumpers?

The factories that paint the bumpers for BMW, also paint bumpers for other premium cars, so the quality should be the same.

err no the definitely didnt have metal bumpers. It was a White Ford Focus ST3it did have black underneath just not the annoyingly soft paint that BMW have decided is ok for their cars.

Also had lots of squeaks from the doors which BMW could not fix and yet I fixed them on my own....I could go on mate. BMW are very poor after sales service.... Ford/Audi etc are much better at that....

Only just noticed that the CF shifter you have has the ///M logo whereas my standard one does not. How come? And how pathetic! As if I haven't spent enough! LOL.

You get it on the manual.

Wow that's one cool car!

Did you also spray paint the "M135i" logo at the back black or did you buy them in black? Any idea where I can find em?

Thanks!
