Tyre Sensors Issue
Hi All,
My brother has a 1 Series and his tyre sensors seem to be playing up and hoping for some advise as on my F30 I do not have the tyre sensors. So he got a nail in the drivers front tyre which flagged on the iDrive and he got that repaired which is fine and he reset the tyre pressures in the iDrive. Now over the last 2 weeks the iDrive keeps flagging up the there is a flat tyre, first the drivers front then the passenger front and once or twice all 4 wheels. Each time he has reset the sensors and all is fine again for just a few days. I checked his tyre pressures and they are all fine for his tyre size and still are the same today. Could it be that the tyre sensor receive less needs a reset so to speak and wondered if disconnecting the battery would do this. Any thoughts/ideas would be great. Thanks Jason |

So when the warning comes up, what tyre pressures are displayed on the iDrive? Are the pressures correct, compared to a regular tyre pressure gauge?

Maybe the wheels have the sensors, but the car is not supporting them. You are supposed to be able to read the tyre pressures in the iDrive when the car is using valve sensors.
