In most cases yes, but it will cost a lot of money...in some cases it is better to sell the car and get a new one with the extras you want!

That's easy, as there is a Retrofit Kit.
Part Number 66202338070 and 51117329910. You can retrofit it only if you have Rear PDC (factory fitted). The part numbers depends on your equipment (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...22&hg=66&fg=95), so you have to check with your dealer, based on your VIN.

You can do it, but it will cost you ALOT of money, as there is no retrofit kit available at the moment. A rough estimate will be around 2.500 Euro!!! You need the lights, light switch, light module, light washers etc.

I will have to pay around 1100 euro for the front pdc. A lot of money.
I had also done the alpine retrofit and the rear pdc retrofit.

Thanx for the info Fanis. I suppose that the washers need a new front bumper correct? What if i don't install the washers? Maybe i can save some money?

just poking around realoem...

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...19&hg=25&fg=15

what are the three product numbers for each gear stick type? i assume two of the three are for LHD / RHD

is it technically possible (ignore cost for now) to just switch the gear selectors out?

if so, i'll keep my eyes peeled on ebay, if not... no worries

I think so, but I am not sure...maybe they can cut a small piece in the bumper and fit them. It is illegal to have Xenon lights in Europe without washers, so the dealer probably will refuse not to fit them. I have done it, but was not easy to convince them!

Do you know if there is also any 'programming' involved in the process? I saw that the lights cost something like 700-800 euro the pair. May be I can purchase them and have them fitted in a friends' service center (?)

The lights are a bit more than 1.000 Euro per pair, if you buy them new. Then you need also light module, light switch and of course programming.

Yes you can ask from your dealer. The mirror costs around 350 Euro and then you need wiring and labour. You have to check according to your VIN, since there are like 20 different part numbers, depending on your equipment.

Since I'm a bit new to all this with the M135i to be my first BMW does anyone know if you can get HK speakers retrofit from the dealer. I'm weighing up buying my car approved used at the end of the month. A couple of cars I've equired about have next to no miles on the clock, are available to drive away (meaning that long wait need not be an issue) and have the spec I'd of gone with if I was buying brand new. However only one of which comes with HK sound system ready fitted

Hi Mate am sure the auto dimming mirrors can be retrofitted as i did that personally in my wife's Volvo...the mirror unit you can buy it from the parts outlet of a dealership. All you need to do is get the cars with auto dimming wiring connection whether its available. For example in the volvo when you remove the mirror and slightly pull down the headlining trim there is a pre-wired end existing there. In BMW F20 as well it should be there and the auto dimming mirrors need power connection so that when light falls into that small spot on the mirror from the rear of the car it can dim itself. Check the wiring and if its there then get it done and also check for an indy local to you who can do the coding for you if needed. For the side mirrors definitely there will be additional wiring requirement and coding for them to work. But for the central one it will work
